My Obsidian second brain: synced everywhere, agent-accessible, backed up off-site
One Obsidian vault for everything, on every device, that my agents can act on.
// Problem
I wanted one knowledge base for everything (learnings, books, business, life, writing), available and editable on every device, with no vendor lock-in and a real backup.
// What I built
An Obsidian vault that's my complete second brain. Synced across all devices (VPS, Mac, Android) with Syncthing over Tailscale, with the VPS as the always-on hub. On the VPS, OpenClaw reads and writes it; on desktop, Claude works on it; on mobile I refer to and edit it manually. I back up the hub vault regularly to a Backblaze B2 bucket.
